Enjoy a restaurant dinner featuring Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes and specially prepared food, good drink and company.  During the evening you'll be treated to presentations from the Chef describing the food as well as tomato history and lore from the Kurlbaum family.

 

 

July 31 (Monday) 7:00 pm at Jasper's Restaurant--The Supper Club featuring Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes

August 10 (Thursday), 6:00 pm--Michael Smith's Restaurant Annual Tomato and Wine Dinner at Michaels Smith's

 

This event features James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Smith.  Chef Kathy Whims from Nostrana Restaurant in Portland, Oregon will be featured as well.  Michael brings his creative culinary skills to the table at his beautiful Cross Roads Restaurant.  Last year's event was the biggest yet selling out the entire restaurant.  His dishes are carefully paired with wines from renowned wineries.  For reservations go soon to MAKE RESERVATION HERE.  SORRY SOLD OUT!

 

 

August 14 (Monday), 6:00 pm--Chicken & Pickle Benefit for Wayside Waifs

 

New to our tomato dinner venues is a place we know all of our Kurlbaum Tomaniacs (tm) will find as one of the most fun.  If you haven't been to Chicken & Pickle, you are truly missing  all the excitement (and playing Pickle Ball with your friends!).  Located in North Kansas City (Northtown) this event will feature Chef Alex Staub, one of the best young Chefs in the City!  And, you'll be doing some good for those unfortunate pets that need some Tomato Love by benefiting Wayside Waifs with a portion of your ticke price!  www.waysidewaifs.org To make a reservation, go to www.chickennpickle.com.

2017 Kurlbaum Farm to Table Dinners

(at our Farm)

 

Enjoy a tour of our tomato farm from Liz Kurlbaum ("Tomato Lady") before dinner and the History of Tomatoes and other Tomato Lore by Tomato Sommelier, Sky Kurlbaum.  Then  get served a Chef Prepared Dinner by a local celebrity chef using local ingredients including, of course, Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes fresh from the garden along with whatever else is currently in season.  You'll be having dinner by 6:00 and be back home by 9:30 but have the time of your culinary life in between, guaranteed.  Prices are all inclusive (dinner, wine, gratuity and all the fun extras).  In 2016, every dinner sold out and we had over 500 guests, so save the dates, invite some friends and make your reservations early for a dinner night you'll never forget!

 

July 28 (Friday) 6:00pm--Chef Michael Peterson from Char Bar.

 

Have you been to Westport to enjoy a night out lately?  No worries...Talented Chef Peterson from Char Bar will bring the fun to the farm.  His creative cooking style and personality will both entertain and delight your taste buds--not to mention his ability to weave our tomatoes into nearly every plate he serves!  Dessert too!  Come unwind at the farm!!!  This is always one our fan favorites!  SORRY SOLD OUT!

It's the annual tomato and prime rib dinner presented for the Slow Foods Foundation.  Jasper says Chef Tim Sigler's (Liz Kurlbaum's brother) prime rib is the best he's ever tasted--now that's saying something.  This event alway sells out.  Make your reservations early!  SORRY SOLD OUT!

A magical evening at Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes farm with top Kansas City Chef TJ Wright from the Brio at the Plaza.  Come and enjoy a delicious dinner hosted by Sky & Liz Kurlbaum, Jeff & Jennifer Stottle, Tim & Kim Laughlin, Kevin & Amy Walstrom, Tom & Leah Burkhead and John & Cami McElroy.  100% of the net proceeds will go directly to the SME Fund!
