Enjoy a restaurant dinner featuring Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes and specially prepared food, good drink and company. During the evening you'll be treated to presentations from the Chef describing the food as well as tomato history and lore from the Kurlbaum family.

August 10 (Thursday), 6:00 pm--Michael Smith's Restaurant Annual Tomato and Wine Dinner at Michaels Smith's
This event features James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Smith. Chef Kathy Whims from Nostrana Restaurant in Portland, Oregon will be featured as well. Michael brings his creative culinary skills to the table at his beautiful Cross Roads Restaurant. Last year's event was the biggest yet selling out the entire restaurant. 2017 Kurlbaum Farm to Table Dinners

Enjoy a tour of our tomato farm from Liz Kurlbaum and Sally Kuklenski before dinner and the History of Tomatoes and other Tomato Lore by Tomato Sommelier, Sky Kurlbaum. Then get served a Chef Prepared Dinner by a local celebrity chef using local ingredients including, of course, Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes fresh from the garden along with whatever else is currently in season. You'll be having dinner by 6:00 and be back home by 9:30 but have the time of your culinary life in between, guaranteed. Prices are all inclusive (dinner, wine, gratuity and all the fun extras). In 2015, every dinner sold out and we had over 250 guests, so save the dates, invite some friends and make your reservations early for a dinner night you'll never forget!
July 28 (Friday) 6:00pm--Chef Michael Peterson from Char Bar.
Have you been to Westport to enjoy a night out lately? No worries...Chef Peterson from Char Bar will bring the fun to the farm. His creative cooking style and personality will both entertain and delight your taste buds--not to mention his ability to weave our tomatoes into every plate he serves! Dessert too! Come unwind at the farm!!! This is always one our fan favorites!
July 30 (Sunday) 6:00 pm--Slow Foods at the Kurlbaum Farm.
It's the annual tomato and prime rib dinner presented for the Slow Foods Foundation. Jasper says Chef Tim Sigler's (Liz Kurlbaum's brother) prime rib is the best he's ever tasted--now that's saying something. This event alway sells out. Make your reservations early! Ticket information coming soon.
August 1 (Tuesday), 6:00 pm--Featuring not one but two Chefs at the Kurlbaum Farm--Jasper Mirabile and Michael Smith!
This is Kansas City's culinary event of the season! Rather than competing (we'll save that for a later event) these two award-winning chefs will collaborate on the night's offerings. Great food and entertainment by these gregarious chefts will fill the evening. Don't miss it! Menu to be posted soon. Guitarist/vocalist Chris Foster will be performing.
August 4 (Friday), 6:00 pm--"The East Fund" fundraising dinner.
A magical evening at Kurlbaum's Heirloom Tomatoes farm. Come and enjoy a delicious dinner hosted by Sky & Liz Kurlbaum, Jeff & Jennifer Stottle, Tim & Kim Laughlin, Kevin & Amy Walstrom, Tom & Leah Burkhead and John & Cami McElroy.
100% of the proceeds will go directly to the SME Fund!
The night will include, "All Things Tomatoes" Kurlbaum's will be in the prime of the tomato season so anticipate a lot of delicious heirlooms as part of the menu. Appetizers, salad, vegetable, potato and meat topped off with a yummy dessert. Wine and beer provided! Chris Foster will provide guitar and vocal music. Ticket information coming soon.
